These are farm raised cornish cross chickens allowed to free range as much as possible to prevent loss by predators. These birds range from 5-7 lbs in butchered weight. The birds are butchered on site by us. The chicks were purchased from Cackle Hatchery in Missouri, received in the mail as day old chicks, and rasied by us. Much of the meat from these birds is breast meat.
